When the first A340-600 was delivered to the Spanish airline Iberia in the late summer of 2003, it made the Spanish one of the first traditional carriers in Europe to introduce the longest airliner of all times. By the end of 2005, Iberia will operate a total of eight such jets. Our model‘s original is EC-INO, and carries the name of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí.
