On the occasion of the “postwar Lufthansa’s” 50th anniversary, the although normally very reserved about special liveries. German airline painted its A321-100, registration D-AIRX, with the livery of the 50s. This livery is commonly considered to be the most superb which Lufthansa ever had. The 1/500 model of this anniversary airplane can now also be found in the retail collection.
