The initially hard to sell “Triple Seven” has developed, next to the 737, into an absolute bank for Boeing. The –200LR (Longer Range) is Boeing’s answer to the A340-500 from Airbus and beats the ex-champion by a few hundred kilometers, with a range of 15,000km at full payload. The original of this model is the prototype with the registration N60659 and the new company colors of the Seattle manufacturer.
