The maiden flight of the Boeing 787, also called “Dreamliner” is scheduled to take off at the end of 2007. With newly developed engines, reduced weight and better aerodynamics, the kerosene consumption of the “Dreamliner” is supposedly 20 percent lower than that of comparable current models. Due to the different aerodynamical profile of the wings in flight and on the ground, we’ll release two model variants: With landing gear out (item no. 513449) and en route without landing gear but with a stand (item no. 513425).
