Eighteen examples of Boeing’s jumbo jets continue on as flagships of Thai Airways’ fleet, until 2010 that is, when the A380 is meant to succeed them. The original of the 747-4D7, registered HS-TGZ and named “Phimara” was taken on in May of 1999 as the last “jumbo” and will now be released in the 1/500 scale at Herpa Wings.
